Dr. Vishala Patel

Dr. Vishala Patel was born and raised in Gujarat, India, where she also earned her dental degree in 2015. She moved to America when she got married to her now husband Dr. Mayank Patel. She has loved dentistry since she was in middle school and has explored various aspects of it while she was transitioning to get her dental license here. She accompanied her husband during his residency in Brooklyn while she worked as a dental assistant and learned about the differences in patient care as compared to India. She also volunteered as a dental assistant at a community based dental clinic located at the New York Presbyterian hospital where her husband was a medical resident.

They then moved to Ann Arbor where Dr. Patel earned her DDS from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. Both Dr. Patels love serving the Dayton community with the knowledge and experience they have gained over the years.

Dr. Patel enjoys all aspects of dentistry but is really focused with making patients feel comfortable and helping them get the treatment they need to maintain good oral health. Alleviating patient fears and providing patients with quality treatment is very important to her along with creating an atmosphere of trust and caring. She strives to provide an experience that she herself would enjoy as a patient.

She is actively involved in continuing education, maintaining the abilities to offer the latest-and-greatest restorative options for her patients. When Dr. Patel is not seeing patients, she enjoys spending time with her husband and friends, doing activities like painting, dancing, and travelling.
